Vintage shorts

Formal portraits depicting family life for lads growing up. (Two people pointed me towards these pics- thankyou to you both.)

  1. Nice pic of this young boy of my generation. These short pants were even shorter when sitting down as they are pulled up the leg. The older boy seems to me too old for wearing short pants. Howerver, he looks nice and tidy.

  2. well the 'older' boy may be a taller boy and not of much difference in age ...

  3. Come on, Danny, the young boy has a chubby face and plump legs, quite babyish, while the older boy has firm and muscular knees and legs.

  4. Difficult to tell Yvan. At 16 I looked like 12 while mates of mine at the same age looked like 19. Sport often plays a big part in body differences at this age too.

  5. I agree with you,Danny, we were in the same boat. At 18. I was still serving mass, in short pants, and looked like a 12 years old boy whowas always asked his pass to enter the cinema.
